In about 5 hours 2010 will end, and we can all give a warm welcome to 2011! New Year is the time to forget about the past year, and look forward to a new, and fresh year. This is a time to forget all the mistakes you made, and make sure you don't make mistakes like that again. Many new resolutions are going to be made, and there will be many friends that might have made a change for this refreshing new year. Now is the time to look back, and see what have we done that didn't impress us, and what could we do to fix those mistakes. A decade has just ended since 2000, and we are going to start the next decade of this century. Many people are looking forward to make changes in themselves to make them achieve more in life. Most of the time, I make a resolution to strive for more in everything, from academic abilities to playing better at a sport. Maybe even eating vegetables everyday can be a resolution for a lot of kids and adults. If we change our inner thoughts, then we can change what others perceive us. So lets all make a New Year's resolution that will, in a long run, allow us to be better people than we are now.

Have you read this book?
Hi! Well I wanted to make a book review for a book I recently read by James Patterson. It is the Witch and the Wizard! There are many reasons this is book is so epic. One of my favorites reasons is James Patterson's way of surprising his readers, which he does a lot. He jumps out with an exciting solution to surprise the reader. You will understand what I mean after you read it! To give you a little heads up of what this book is really about I will give a small summary. Wisteria and Whitford Allgood were accused for being a witches and wizards. Wisty and Whit first did not believe in their magical till Wisty made random magical tricks accidentally. That is the cool part! But the conflict for this story is that this guy Number 1 wants to kill all the magical witches and wizards in the world. Now Wisty and Whit have to escape from the Hospital and try to defeat the Number 1! I would recommend this book to people who like action, and magical things. READ THE BOOK!

Debate!
Hi! Well I am going to get a little sporty now, and I have also recently been seeing debates of who will win the holiday exhibition match in NBA! One match is Heats versus Lakers, which is going to be intense. I am a LeBron James fan, and with his new team of Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh, Heats are going to the top! Now the problem started when I was watching Espn. Obviously they were talking about the Lakers, and Heats. They had a vote to see which states debated which team. Sadly 49 out of 50 sates picked Lakers! The only state that picked the Heats was Florida which pretty much lowers their reputation. It was Christmas day, and the match ended! THE HEAT WON! They overpowered their rivals by 16 points. The match was really exciting, and was worth watching!

Shoveling 18 inches of snow!
I peered out the window to see millions of snow flakes pouring on the cold, frosty grass. I was fascinated, and hoped that it won't melt like it always does! Fortunately it stuck to the floor, and the winter wonderland began building itself. As I always do when it snows I turned on channel 12. "Ohhhh no!" I thought to myself. The meteorologists said it was going to snow 18 inches The next day my father called me," Vedhanth, bundle up because we are going shoveling!". I was quite excited to go, but the boring, and aching part was shoveling. I bundled up and grabbed the shovel leaning on the wall beside me. I looked out the window, and the meteorologist was right, over 2 feet of snow was piled on my driveway. " This is going to be fun," I murmured sarcastically to myself. 3 hours of backbreaking, leg numbing, and snow filled shoveling later I was done! I was quite impressed of my results as well. The good part was it was a great exercise too! So shoveling this year was a great experience, and hope you have a great time shoveling too!

The Last Book In The Universe!
The Last Book in the Universe is a great scientific, and drama book. It is filled with action, sorrow, and happiness. The book is about disastrous city in the future named the The Urb. the city was disturbed by the Big Shake that ruined the futuristic city. In the book The Urb is filled with poverty, gang warfare, and the use of mindprobes. The mindprobes are like drugs that take you to Eden a happy life with proovs [ genetically improved humans] and in a big city. The bad part is that you are only imagining those things. Spaz is a 16 year old boy that was adopted but later abandoned from his family because of his disorder, epilepsy. Spaz runs errands for his leader or boss Billy Bizmo who is really his father in his latch [ a private gang land]. The book is mainly bout Spaz finding Ryter a old man who is the only one possessing a book. In the book, books are pieces of junk. Ryter says to Spaz that mindprobes will not be used in the future. They will use books instead. Soon Spaz gets a message that his stepsister Bean is dying and needs to see him. Follow them through the Pipe to save Bean.
The book in my perspective was very good. It has many details, good characters, a good plot, and was a great example of what the future could be like. You can explore Spaz's life and see his conflicts I would recommend this book to people who like science fiction. The book is filled with futuristic tools, that interested me. If you read this book you will be enhanced by the story, and love it. Hope you will like it!

The Rockefeller Tree!
The Rockefeller Tree is a wonderful place to go for the Christmas Holidays! The 100 feet tall tree is filled with lights, and Christmas decorations! The Rockefeller tree is a great view, and is also a great place to enjoy your holiday with your loved ones. The tree brings me many memories about the wonderful time I had with my piers and family. I can remember people selling colorful knick-knacks, and holiday ornaments. Many kids were gliding across the ice skating rink behind the tree. The small cafe and the Christmas music was soothing for the holiday. Even is the weather was brutally cold my heart was filled with warmth and love. The Rockefeller tree is a great sight to spend your jolly Holidays!
